A friend and I were out doing a little predator hunting after a fresh banket of snow. The first set that went unsucessful, so we moved to a new canyon. On the way there we found a fresh Lion Track. After following it for about a mile, I was glassing the other side of the canyon and there he was. A quick set up and a confirmation on the range, the shot was taken. Down he went. As we were sitting there another one steps out. Holy crap. My buddy sets up and fires. Click. No bulet in the chamber. Cat gets away. He is bumming, but I am happy. Talk about a once in a lifetime chance to pull a double. Oh well. Mine taped out at 7'8". He weighed at least 175. My first cat. I am stoked. This pic was taken with a camera phone. Not the best, but it works.
I think I just found a new sport
