| Not sure why this is happening, but in the area where I live, we seem to be having a problem with wild hogs. They are coming down out of the mountains and rooting through yards and well basically tearing everything in their path up. Anyone have any idea's on what to do to keep them out of our yards. Hog Season isn't in yet here so killing them is out of the question, let alone illegal, so any other ideas? |

| lol they don't seem to be scared of dogs. I don't even like taking my siberian husky out at night unless I have all the outside lights on and can see whats in my yard. Besides they went into one guys yard who has two Rotties and the hogs still took over the yard. The dogs ran for shelter on the guys porch. Last edited by epiphany; 08-08-2005 at 07:18 AM. |

| Senior Member | hogs can be hunted 24..7...365 days of the year in georgia except on public lands, federal lands or private property without permission. cant help you there.there considered a domesticated farm animal and there is no closed season. there considered a pest like a coyote. |

| Well it seems that the wild hogs have decided to leave the area. Apparently a guy was baiting them in with corn behind his house and neighbors reported him. |
