i have quite a few.from 200 dollars to 5000 dollars. i would make a suggestion.you dont need a 5000 dollar rifle to hunt a deer.a 200 dollar rifle will do just fine.most of the dear killed in georgia is less than 75 yards.invest your money in a good quality scope because you cant shoot what you cant see. get one with superior low light capability. i deer hunt with a savage 308 tactical rifle(400 dollars)and a burris electro dot scope(400 dollars) in extreme low light the scope has a small red dot in the center of the crosshair allowing you to sight the animal when you cant visibly see your cross hairs.if you are just starting out hunting ...mount this scope on a rifle like the nef single shot...you can get it down here for under 200 dollars.choose a caliber your are comfortable with.3006,7mm mag all these are really over kill on ga deer. 308 ,7mm08, 243,short action rifles are fine.did you know more deer are killed in georgia with a 3030 than any other caliber.dont buy a shoulder pounder...get a comfortable rifle with good optics and practice at the range...you wont go wrong
