| I haven't begun hunting, fishing I did quite a bit, but hunting I'm still trying to get my mind around. Not sure I could look a deer straight in the eye and kill it. I have gone on photo hunts though, which is where you use a camera instead of a gun. |

| I've been fishing since I was old enough to hold a fishing pole. And I've been hunting since I was 12 about 15 years ago. I now take my kids fishing and hunting with me. And as soon as they are old enough I'm sure they would be happy to hunt by my side. |

| I remember tagging along on rabbit and squirrel hunts with my father as young as 7. I started deer hunting when I was 10. I hunted by myself, without supervision, for the first time when I was 12. Ain't looked back since, and I've had more fun than any one person should be allowed to have. I've made a lot of memories in the middle of "The Chase." Hopefully there will be many, many more season openers to lie awake half the night looking forward to before I trot off to those happy hunting grounds in the sky.

| Senior Member | started when i was 16 deer hunting.enlisted in the marines at 18 hunted people for a while..couple years later got into hog hunting and have been doing it ever since.something about hunting something that can hunt you back is most exillerating.dont get me wrong hunting deer is fun too, but stalking through the saw palmetto with a handgun looking for a 200 plus pound porkchop gets me excited. |

| I began hunting when I was about 8 yrs. old. My grandfather got me started hunting squirrels and rabbits. He eventually let me go out racoon hunting with him. I got into deer hunting solo on my own but, he took me out on deer drives with his buddies. He taught me every ethical and safe aspect of hunting and fishing, and I instill those same virtues in my two sons. For his time with me on the water and the woods, I am very grateful. There is no way like the OLD way. |
