Default Storage Question

I am a newbie here in this forum as well as in hunting. I hope you can share with me your insights and experiences in storing wild game and fowl. What do you use to preserve and keep your deer (for example) cold? And what do you suggest is the best temperature?

I have done it in many different ways. I first started out washing the hams, shoulders and tenderloin/back straps and put them in the freezer. Then i use to put in a box cooler and just out ice on it and drain all the blood out and send it to the butcher. Now i have access to a walk in cooler. we let them hang about to weeks and process them ourselves(we have all the equiment to process with/mainly burger).. I have heard lots of different temp's to hang them at and have heard different things to soak in. I would ask the local butcher/meat processing place. I have also just took the whole to get cleaned and processed....
