Default Man shot stepson while hunting

A man killed his stepson during a fox-hunting expedition at night, a court was told.

That's crazy, hunting at night and not knowing where others are that were with you, and still shooting. You need to be at least 110% sure that you know exactly what you're shooting.

I'm not too sure, but is fox hunting legal to do at night?

That's terrible. I can't imagine the shock of being a father and realizing you shot your son thinking he was a game animal. Yet it seems to happen so often.

I guess I'm too closed-minded, but I have no tolerance for unsafe hunters. There's NO excuse, in my opinion, for accidentally shooting another hunter.

Several years ago, I was squirrel hunting with a fella. He was walking behind me. I turned around to tell him something, and found myself staring at the shotgun barrel. He apparently thought it would be cool to point the shotgun at me. I yelled at him to point the gun away. He pointed it toward the ground. Just as he did, it went off. Needless to say, I never went hunting with him again.

ive hunted coons at night but i have never mistook a man that climbed up a tree as a coon.another example of someone doing something incredible stupid. i have a pair of generation 3 night vision binoculas and i can barely see with out a little moon light, so i dont know how these guys were doing it.........if it moves its a fox...if it stands still, its a well disiplined fox.
