| I know some people who will vote strictly because a candidate is a hunter. While hunters are usually good people, I fail to see how a person being a hunter makes a difference in running the government. Just a random thought. |

| I don't vote based on one specific thing, but something like gun rights / hunting will always be something that will one of the things that I seriously consider when I'm deciding on which candidate to vote for. |

| There are a few specific things I look for when deciding whether to vote for a candidate. The person's stance on hunting and gun ownership comes third on the list, behind a couple of other issues. Being a hunter doesn't make a candidate a good or bad choice for office, but his/her stance on hunting rights is very important, in my opinion.

| Senior Member | how do you tell if a politician is lying? his mouth is moving.ive seen plenty of candidates who masquerade behind the nra and clame to be hunters who have never even been in the woods.people will say anything to get a vote.theres only one person i know of that ever tried to tell the people the whole truth and nothing but the truth and we hung him from a cross and killed him. |

There are far too many other issues that are more important than a candidates hunting status when deciding on who you are going to vote for. At least thats how I feel about it. | |
